Published Oct 14, 2025 · Updated Oct 14, 2025
Stored XSS in David Cole Simple SEO before 2.0.32 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through crafted SEO title values. The plugin stores the contributor-controlled SEO Title and outputs it into a page without sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. Contributor access is sufficient, and execution requires another user to view the affected page, exposing data and actions available in that user’s browser session.
