Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted slider upload
Published Oct 8, 2025 · Updated Oct 8, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Melis Platform before 5.3.1 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted slider image. The saveDetailsFormAction handler accepted the mcsdetail_img file without an extension allowlist and stored it under the web-accessible slider media path. No authentication is required, and execution occurs when the web server processes the uploaded PHP file.
