Stored HTML injection via unsanitized article subject
Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Stored HTML injection in Perfex CRM 3.2.1 allows remote attackers to inject content through the knowledge-base article subject. The /knowledge_base/article endpoint stores the POST subject parameter without proper input validation, causing attacker-supplied HTML to render later. No authentication is required, but a user must view the stored article for the injected content to affect the browser-rendered page.
