Persistent browser content injection via unvalidated lead fields
Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Stored HTML injection in Perfex CRM 3.2.1 allows remote attackers to inject persistent markup through lead creation requests. The /admin/leads/lead endpoint accepts the name and address POST parameters without proper validation and stores their content for later rendering. No privileges are required to submit the request, but a user must later view the affected lead; the reported consequence is modification of content in that user's browser.
