Command execution via unvalidated playlist parameter
Published Sep 12, 2025 · Updated Jan 20, 2026
OS command injection in Micz Flor RPi-Jukebox-RFID 2.0 through 2.8.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands. The shuffle.php API reads the JSON playlist value without content validation and embeds it inside a quoted shuffle_play.sh command passed to execScript. The public proof of concept sends no credentials, while the CNA assesses that low-privilege access is required; successful exploitation runs commands as the web application account.
