Authenticated OS command execution via unneutralized playlist input
Published Sep 12, 2025 · Updated Sep 15, 2025
OS command injection in Micz Flor RPi-Jukebox-RFID 2.0 through 2.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The /htdocs/api/playlist/single.php endpoint passes the PUT request's playlist value into an OS command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Low-privileged web access is required; injected commands run with the application process privileges and can read, alter, or interrupt host data and services.
