Stored script execution via unescaped array values
Published Sep 16, 2025 · Updated Sep 16, 2025
Cross-site scripting in TYPO3 Form to Database allows remote attackers to execute script in a backend user's browser via stored form data. FormValueUtility.php joins array-valued form fields without applying htmlspecialchars, then the backend interface renders the resulting text as HTML. Affected releases are before 2.2.5, 3.0.0 through 3.2.1, 4.0.0 through 4.2.2, and 5.0.0 through 5.0.1; exploitation requires a backend user to view stored attacker input.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <2.2.5
- Affected versionversion=3.0.0 <3.2.2
