Settings modification via missing saveFields nonce validation
Published Oct 15, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in FunKItools 1.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to update plugin settings through an administrator's browser. The saveFields() function accepts a state-changing request without correctly validating a WordPress nonce before writing the submitted settings. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link, and the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized modification of plugin configuration.
