Session hijacking via reflected EID script injection
Published Feb 19, 2025 · Updated Feb 19, 2025
Reflected XSS in ChurchCRM 5.13.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to hijack browser sessions through the EID parameter. EditEventAttendees.php places the administrator-controlled EID value into generated HTML without context-appropriate output encoding, causing JavaScript execution in a victim's browser. Administration privileges and victim interaction are required; execution can expose accessible session cookies and perform application actions as the victim.
