SMM code execution via out-of-bounds write
Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Lenovo ThinkPad BIOS allows privileged local users to execute code in System Management Mode. Lenovo has not published the affected firmware handler, the attacker-controlled input, or the operation that writes beyond its destination buffer. Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
