Stored script execution via unsanitized Colour field
Published Sep 11, 2025 · Updated Sep 11, 2025
Stored XSS in Scada-LTS 2.7.8.0 and 2.7.8.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted report Colour value. The Reports page stores the per-point Colour value and renders it into the DOM without HTML escaping or sanitization when the template is viewed. A high-privileged account must save the value, and another user must open or edit the report; execution is confined to that user's browser context.
