Stored script execution via unencoded renderer properties
Published Sep 10, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Scada-LTS 2.7.8.0 and 2.7.8.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The Data Point Edit page stores crafted Text Renderer property content and returns it in generated HTML without neutralizing executable markup. Administrative access is required to alter the data point, and exploitation requires another user to view the stored content in the Scada-LTS origin.
