Authenticated arbitrary file deletion via path traversal
Published Sep 10, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025
Path traversal in 299Ko 2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files through the file manager API. FileManagerAPIController.php's delete flow accepts the path returned by getSentDir and performs deletion without restricting traversal outside the managed directory. Low-privilege authenticated access is required; the reported consequence is deletion of arbitrary writable files, without reported file disclosure.
