CVE-2025-10227

Plaintext archive disclosure via missing at-rest encryption

Published Sep 10, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025

Missing encryption in Axxon One 2.0.8 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to read Object Archive data in plaintext. The Object Archive writes recorded video to archive volumes without at-rest encryption, leaving exported storage and removed drives readable. Exploitation requires access to exported storage or a physical drive; it exposes archive confidentiality without altering or interrupting the service.
