CVE-2025-10217Network attack vector

Log forgery via unneutralized performance data

Published Sep 30, 2025 · Updated Oct 28, 2025

Log injection in Hitachi Energy Asset Suite EAM 9.0 through 9.8 allows remote authenticated users to alter performance log data. The performance-logging path writes attacker-controlled content to log files without adequately neutralizing special elements, permitting forged entries. Performance logging is typically enabled only for troubleshooting, and exploitation compromises log integrity without reported confidentiality or availability impact.
