Unauthenticated administrator privileges via authentication bypass
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025
Authentication bypass in Sophos AP6 Series Access Points before 1.7.2563 allows remote attackers to gain administrator privileges. Sophos identifies the reachable management IP address as the attack surface but has not disclosed the affected component or failed authentication operation. Exploitation requires network reachability to that address and grants administrator-level control of the access point.
