CVE-2025-10151Network attack vector

Memory and resource leaks via TCP/IP thread locking

Published Oct 28, 2025 · Updated Oct 28, 2025

Improper locking in Softing smartLink HW-PN 1.02 through 1.03 and HW-DP 1.31 allows remote authenticated users to leak memory and resources. A malicious TCP/IP thread triggers improper lock handling, but Softing does not identify the affected routine or the incorrect lock operation. Low-privilege network access and specific runtime conditions are required; successful exploitation exposes memory or leaks resources and disrupts gateway functions.
