Database reads and writes via concatenated search keyword
Published Sep 8, 2025 · Updated Sep 9, 2025
SQL injection in ChanCMS 3.3.0 and 3.3.1 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data through a crafted search keyword. The affected search code directly concatenates two fuzzy-query keys, including keyword, into an SQL statement instead of binding them. A valid CMS login is required; the published error-based payload extracts the current database name, while broader command execution is not established.
