Unauthenticated file disclosure via external entity resolution
Published Sep 8, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025
XXE in Jinher OA 1.0 through 1.2 allows remote attackers to read server files through a crafted XML request to XmlHttp.aspx. The Type=add XML handler resolves attacker-supplied external DTD and file entities, then sends the resolved file content to an attacker-controlled HTTP endpoint. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is out-of-band disclosure of files readable by the server process.
