Unauthenticated database access via unvalidated ID query
Published Sep 8, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Polling System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data via the candidates.php ID parameter. The endpoint places the unvalidated ID value directly into a SQL query, enabling time-based blind injection with a crafted request. No login is required; exploitation can expose database contents, alter stored records, or interrupt database-backed service operations.
