Browser script execution via unescaped scripts parameter
Published Sep 7, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025
Cross-site scripting in POS Point of Sale System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via a crafted URL. The empty_table.php template places the scripts query parameter into a script-element context without neutralizing quote and tag delimiters. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted URL; the demonstrated consequence is attacker-supplied JavaScript execution in that user's browser.
