Cross-site scripting via unescaped scripts parameter
Published Sep 7, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025
Cross-site scripting in POS Point of Sale System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in another user's browser via a crafted URL. The dom_data_th.php DataTables test template inserts the scripts query parameter into script markup without output encoding, so tag-breaking input creates a new script element. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted URL; the payload then alters content in that browser session without server-side code execution.
