Authenticated code execution via unfiltered PHP write
Published Sep 17, 2025 · Updated Sep 17, 2025
Code injection in Smackcoders WP Ultimate CSV Importer 7.20 through 7.28 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The write_to_customfile() function writes unfiltered PHP into customFunction.php, which the web server executes when that file is requested. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code in the WordPress server context.
