Administrator-level SQL injection via unescaped orderby parameter
Published Oct 22, 2025 · Updated Oct 22, 2025
SQL injection in Prashant Baldha Email Tracker 5.3.15 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data via orderby. The email-list table handler inserts the user-controlled orderby value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or a prepared placeholder. Administrator-level WordPress access is required, and the demonstrated consequence is extraction of sensitive database information rather than modification or interruption.
