Printer service interruption via raw JPEG IPP job

Improper unexpected-data handling in HP LaserJet Pro printer firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt printer service via an IPP job. The IPP JPEG-processing path accepts a raw JPEG as print data but fails to handle its unexpected data type safely, causing denial of service. No authentication or user interaction is required; network access to IPP is sufficient, while HP has not disclosed whether the interruption is a hang, crash, or reboot.
