Buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-825 1.08.01 httpd allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted IPv6 ping address. The get_ping6_app_stat function in ping6_response.cg copies the ping6_ipaddr argument without checking its length before writing to a bounded buffer. Access to the web-based management interface is required, and the published record does not establish command execution or persistent device compromise.
