Malicious update substitution via unverified server certificate

Improper certificate validation in Medixant RadiAnt DICOM Viewer before 2025.1 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to substitute updates. The update check accepts response content from an impersonated server after a certificate-name-mismatch warning, allowing its installer link to be replaced. The attacker needs privileged network access; the user must disregard the certificate alert, download the file through a Windows browser, and manually execute it before code runs.
