Published Oct 30, 2025 · Updated Oct 30, 2025
Missing authorization in Translate WordPress with Weglot 5.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete cached plugin options. The clean_options function deletes transients containing cached plugin configuration without checking the caller's WordPress capability. No authentication or user interaction is required; the effect is limited to cached plugin state rather than permanent site content.
