Database disclosure via unprepared CSV export query
Published Sep 20, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in ClickWhale 2.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive database data through CSV export requests. The export_csv() function incorporates a user-supplied parameter into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or parameter preparation. Administrator access is normally required, although lower-privileged accounts can reach the flaw when plugin access is explicitly granted.
