Heap corruption via crafted HTML
Published Feb 19, 2025 · Updated Feb 19, 2025
Heap buffer overflow in V8 in Google Chrome before 133.0.6943.126 allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory via a crafted HTML page. The affected V8 routine and exact out-of-bounds write are undisclosed because the linked Chromium issue is access-restricted. A user must load attacker-controlled HTML; the public record establishes heap corruption but does not demonstrate a sandbox escape.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
