Heap corruption via freed Navigation object
Published Feb 15, 2025 · Updated Feb 19, 2025
Use-after-free in Google Chrome before 133.0.6943.98 allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory through a crafted Chrome Extension. The Navigation component dereferences an object after its memory is freed, but the restricted issue record does not disclose the affected function or object. Exploitation requires user interaction with an attacker-crafted extension and can compromise confidentiality and integrity without a reported availability impact.
