CVE-2025-0975Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unneutralized escape sequences

Published Feb 28, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Command injection in the REST API and Console in IBM MQ 9.1 through 9.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. The web administration components pass attacker-controlled escape, meta, or control sequences onward without neutralizing them; IBM has not disclosed the specific request field or code path. Access to an authenticated MQ Console or REST API session is required, and successful injection executes code with the affected service's privileges.
