Boot loop via redirected recording file deletion

Improper permissions in AXIS Camera Station Pro before 6.8 allow local users to delete system files and trigger a boot loop. A file deletion performed during video recording can be redirected to system files; Axis has not disclosed the responsible file operation. A non-admin account and recording access are required, and successful exploitation leaves the host in a boot loop.
