CVE-2025-0899

Code execution via AcroForm use-after-free

Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025

Use-after-free in AcroForm handling in PDF-XChange Editor 10.3.1.387 allows attackers to execute code through a crafted PDF. The AcroForm parser performs operations on an object without validating that the object still exists, enabling access after its lifetime has ended. Execution requires a target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, and resulting code runs in the current process context.
