CVE-2025-0883Network attack vector

Browser data disclosure via error-page script injection

Published Mar 12, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2025

Cross-site scripting in OpenText Service Manager 9.70, 9.71, 9.72, and 9.80 allows remote authenticated users to expose browser data. An error-message web page returns attacker-controlled script syntax without adequate neutralization, causing the browser to interpret it as active content. Exploitation requires low-privileged access, an additional attack condition, and passive user interaction; impact is limited to sensitive browser-retained information.
