Script execution via unescaped shortcodes_set reflection
Published Feb 18, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in Active Products Tables for WooCommerce 1.0.6.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via shortcodes_set. Plugin output reflects the shortcodes_set parameter into HTML without sufficient input sanitization or contextual output escaping. Exploitation requires a victim to follow an attacker-crafted link, allowing script execution in that user's browser context.
