Arbitrary file disclosure via path traversal
Published Feb 5, 2025 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Path traversal in HP Poly CCX, C60, Edge E, and Trio firmware allows attackers to read arbitrary files from affected devices. HP has not published the affected request handler or input field, only that firmware path validation fails to block traversal. Exploitation requires adjacent access, high privileges, and target-specific conditions; arbitrary file reads can disclose sensitive device data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
