Improper signature verification in Hitachi VSP One Block 20 Series allows remote authenticated users to replace device firmware. The firmware replacement function does not adequately validate a firmware image's cryptographic signature before accepting the update. Exploitation requires low-privileged network access and user interaction, and accepted untrusted firmware alters storage-system integrity and interrupts service.
