Improper input validation in Schneider Electric Enerlin'X IFE and EIFE all versions allows remote attackers to interrupt service via ICMPv6. The IPv6 packet-processing path accepts malicious ICMPv6 packets without sufficient validation and enters a denial-of-service state; Schneider Electric has not disclosed the precise field or parser operation. The sender needs adjacent-network reachability, but no authentication or user interaction, and exploitation interrupts availability without reported data exposure or modification.
