Administrator-level object injection via unserialized query parameter
Published Feb 27, 2025 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
PHP object injection in Melapress WP Activity Log 5.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to inject objects via a crafted query parameter. The write_csv_ajax method in myapp/classes/Writers/class-csv-writer.php base64-decodes and unserializes the POST query value without validating its serialized content. A valid export nonce and Administrator-level access are required, and file deletion, data retrieval, or code execution additionally requires a usable POP chain from another installed plugin or theme.
