Code execution via unrestricted JNDI identifiers
Published Apr 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 17, 2025
Resource injection in Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Data Integration and Analytics before 10.2.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. Platform data-source creation accepts attacker-controlled JNDI identifiers without restricting the naming context or reachable resource. Administrative access to the data-source creation workflow is required; exploitation can read or modify protected files and other system resources.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=10.0 <10.2.0.2
