Access-control bypass and service interruption via unsanitized headers

HTTP request smuggling in Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh 2.5.6 and 2.6.3 allows remote authenticated users to bypass request controls. Envoy fails to sanitize attacker-supplied HTTP headers before using them in trust-based request handling, so injected values influence rate limits and access decisions. A valid low-privilege context is required; successful requests enable unauthorized access, replay, request amplification, or service interruption through CPU and memory exhaustion.
