Path traversal in CRI-O before 1.33.1 allows remote authenticated users to unmount arbitrary host paths through crafted Pod operations. UnMountPodLogs and LinkContainerLogs use an unvalidated emptyDirVolName to derive a host path outside the intended Pod volume and pass it to log-linking and unmount operations. Creating and deleting Pods is required; unmounting a critical host directory can interrupt every workload on the affected node.
