CVE-2025-0747Network attack vector

Stored script execution via poisoned chat messages

Published Jan 30, 2025 · Updated Feb 18, 2025

Stored cross-site scripting in EmbedAI before 2.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript when a user opens a chat. A chat message accepts attacker-supplied JavaScript and stores it for execution in the viewing user's browser without effective output neutralization. An attacker needs an authenticated account, and a separate user must open the poisoned chat; the script then runs in that user's browser context.
