Published Jan 30, 2025 · Updated Jan 30, 2025
Improper access control in EmbedAI before 2.1 allows remote authenticated users to read other users' chat messages. The /embedai/chats/load_messages endpoint accepts a caller-supplied chat_id without enforcing ownership before returning the referenced conversation. Any authenticated account can substitute another chat identifier and disclose another user's stored conversation content.
