CVE-2025-0726Network attack vector

Service interruption via unclosed HTTP PUT file

Published Feb 21, 2025 · Updated Feb 21, 2025

Denial of service in Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo before 6.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt HTTP file service via a PUT request. The _nx_web_http_server_put_process function returns after a packet-receive timeout without closing the file opened for writing. A PUT declaring more content than its first packet supplies reaches the error path, after which later file requests receive 404 responses.
