CVE-2025-0721Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Session takeover via unencoded Username reflection

Published Jan 26, 2025 · Updated Apr 16, 2025

Reflected cross-site scripting in needyamin Image Gallery 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through the Username parameter. The view.php endpoint places the supplied Username value in gallery-name output without filtering or contextual encoding. Exploitation requires a victim to follow a crafted URL; the resulting script runs in that victim's browser context and can read an unprotected session cookie for session takeover.
