Scanner crash via Folder Watch List overflow

Stack-based buffer overflow in MicroWorld eScan Antivirus 7.0.32 for Linux allows local users to crash real-time scanning. The removeExtraSlashes function in /opt/MicroWorld/sbin/rtscanner mishandles attacker-controlled Folder Watch List input and overwrites its stack buffer. A low-privileged local account is required, and the published impact is limited to availability loss in the scanner process.
