Published Mar 25, 2025 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
Stored XSS in Social Slider Feed before 2.2.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a crafted widget title. The plugin stores an administrator-supplied social-feed widget title without sufficient sanitization and renders it without output escaping. Administrator privileges and a multisite installation or disabled unfiltered_html are required; the script runs when a user views the widget.
