Unauthorized permission changes via client-side-only validation
Published Jun 5, 2025 · Updated Jun 5, 2025
Improper access control in Devolutions Server 2025.1.10.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to bypass edit restrictions. The permissions component relies on client-side validation instead of enforcing the Edit permission on the server. A low-privileged authenticated account can submit requests that alter permissions despite lacking the required authorization.
